Ptolemaios

Family and friends

Since little of Allelujah’s past is known, there is nothing to give us hints that he still has a family, so the crew of the Ptolemaios are the closest he has to that. Allelujah seems to be the type who is easy to get along with, so I’d imagine him being on friendly terms with the crew, at least to some level.

During episode 14, when most of the crew went down to Earth, Allelujah stayed behind to assist Ian Vashti, Ptolemy’s techinian. When they talked, it was in a very familiar tone. Staying behind when Ian did not need any helped showed us that Allelujah preferred a quiet exisitence, one that he enjoyed helping others.

As for one on one contact, besides Ian, he is known to be trusted by Christina Sierra, who yelled out his name for help when Ptolemy was under attack. With their tactician, Sumeragi Lee Noriega, he speaks casually. There’s always a willingness for familiarity.

Though to be honest, we don’t actually see a whole lot of interaction between Allelujah and the crew, but like Lockon, who is much more adept at socializing, he has the ability to get along with others. Setsuna holds an silent wall over himself, preventing any attempts to get too close. And on the other hand, Tieria has no interest to socialize with what he considers to be unnecessay to Veda’s plans.

There’s little doubt that the crew of Ptolemy are the people Allelujah is closest to. As comrades in their eradication of war, they would hold each other in important roles.
